60 Mindful Minutes

A weekly drop-in class where we will focus on various key concepts drawn from the Breathworks 8-week courses. Each class will begin with a 20 minute Body Scan and finish with a 20 minute practice relating to the key concept we've been looking at in the middle. This will allow us to revise, refresh or learn anew the full range of practices and skills provided on the courses.
When: Tuesdays 19:30 - 20:30. We will make a prompt start so feel free to arrive from 19:15.
Where: The Quintin Room, The Diamond Centre, School Lane, Sprowston, Norwich, NR7 8TR. Free parking. The venue is fully accessible. There is a hearing-loop (please give advance notice if required) and disabled parking spaces available (no blue badge required).
What do I need to bring: I won't be bringing any equipment so please bring your own mats/blankets/cushions if you would like to practice lying down or with additional support while seated or sitting on the floor. There are chairs and a water cooler and the room has air-conditioning/heating, carpet and is well sound insulated.
Cost: £5 - £7 depending on what you can afford. If cost is an issue for you please feel free to just pay what you can afford. Please put your payment in the honesty box on arrival (change available).
A monthly Sunday afternoon of Mindfulness practice. Most of the afternoon will be spent in silence after brief introductions and with a short period of time for questions arising about personal practice at the end.
There will be two 40-minute guided mindfulness practices and a break in the middle for refreshments or further self-led practice.
When: 14.00 - 16.00 Next dates will be 10 Feb, 10 March, 14 April (please note change in 2019 to the 2nd Sunday of the month).
Where: The Pavilion, Sprowston Recreation Ground, Norwich.
Cost: £10 - £15 depending on what you can afford. If cost is an issue for you please feel free to just pay what you can afford.
What do I need to bring: Nothing but yourself! I will provide mats, cushions and blankets for lying down or improved posture while sitting but feel free to bring any additional things that help you feel comfortable while practising. There will be tea/coffee/juice and vegan/gluten-free options for refreshments.
